The origin of B&B “Opuntia” is the arrival point of a personal itinerary which starts in 2007. In that year my experience in the field of hospitality begins, building and managing a hotel in a property which belonged to a grandmother’s of mine and which hosted my childhood. The project was conducted with enthusiasm and passion up to 2014. The same passion brought me, two years later, to undertake what, at the beginning, I called “From the idea to the project: The story of a dream”, recutering therefore, the stimulating world of hospitality. The story is repeated, I decided to reavaluate the house which belonged to my father’s parents. An old building right in the historical town centre in Carloforte, built at the end of the 1700’s and bought by my great-grandfather Enrico Grasso in 1931 for his daughters Angelina and Maddalena. In this house a part of my heart is always present, there, my great grandparents, my grandparents an my father used to live. This is why I decided to start my enterprise once again with enthusiasm and love, trying to give importance to the house where I lived my childhood. At presesent the house has been completely restructured, trying to put the maximum care in leaving the prints of the time with which the house has come to us.

In 2024, with over twenty years of experience in the hospitality sector, we brought to life “Villa Elicriso,” just a short distance from the sea.
